Responsibilities:
Operations Planning
Optimise fleet assignment for maximum commercial returns.
Propose gauge changes to accommodate aircraft maintenance tasks.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, airport coordinators and external partners to secure the necessary approvals, slots and ground support.
Lead bi-weekly meeting with stakeholders from operational departments.
Network & Schedule Planning
Perform analysis on potential new routes and build business cases for incentive negotiations.
Perform analysis on frequency and/or schedule adjustments based on market demand.
Propose seasonal block time adjustments based on historic OTP performance.
Forecast HKIA noise quota usage based on analysis of historic performance.
Other ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Distribution & Systems Management
Distribute schedule information to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain schedule inventory in the reservation system, and to coordinate with relevant stakeholders for schedule changes, flight cancellations and passenger protection plans.
Maintain schedule plan in the operation system, and to coordinate with rostering team for timely updates.
Maintain schedule plan in other online platforms and portals to ensure external parties are kept up to date (cargo, GDS, codeshare, online flight approval platforms);
Perform system tests and design automated reports as and when required.
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytical field;
At least 3 years of total working experience, with at least 2 years in aviation.
Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin is a plus.
Excellent PC skills, in particular MS Excel.
