【開工厚多士】教你應對職場尷尬

試問人誰無過,但如果在同事面前出醜,那份尷尬真的難以應付。每天朝九晚五都要上班,一想到同事可能對你竊竊私語,真的想挖個地洞鑽下去。如果不幸墮入「尷尬陷阱」,有甚麼方法能夠應對?

1. 臉紅但不心慌

記住︰鎮定、鎮定、再鎮定。險紅、出汗……伴隨尷尬出現的生理特徵難以遮掩,但我們一定不能慌亂,否則更容易讓別人覺得我們懦弱。

2. 懂得執生

千萬別打算辯解,有時解釋愈多、亂子更多,反而及早承認過失,就更容易得到別人諒解。既然尷尬場面已成事實,就應該拿出勇氣來面對,甚至隨機應變自嘲一下。例如人事部經理黃先生向新同事簡介人事架構,豈料他將總經理的名字讀錯了!當時全場鴉雀無聲,總經理亦面露不悅。黃先生並無心慌,反而即時執生說︰「我們的管理層並無架子,但你們不要記錯他們的名字呀!」緊張的場面就在一片笑聲中鬆弛下來。

3. 裝傻扮懵

「厚臉皮」萬試萬靈,能輕易趕走尷尬。我們並非真的做「傻仔」,但既然能「甩身」,間中一次半次有何不何?

4. 迅速離場

「三十六着,走為上着。」如果你沒有勇氣和能力應付,最佳選擇就是立即逃離現場。

5. 扮作弱者

「弱者」最容易得到別人同情,在尷尬出現時,你立即做出過激反應,可以是非常懊悔,又或者痛苦萬狀,只要讓別人見到你的「慘樣」,好像事情已過度傷害你的自尊心,他們肯定不會再對你窮追猛打,尷尬也就不了了之。

6. 強烈反擊

這一招是應付尷尬時的最後一着,你要先考慮對方身份,其次是環境,以及反擊力度。尷尬並非「死得人」,頂多只是一次過失,所以在決定反擊前,一定要搞清楚目的。如果你反擊的結果是讓自己釋懷,但同時會傷害了別人,那麼請你放棄支擊好了。假如反擊的結果是皆大歡喜,那麼反而值得一試,總之大原則是「利己不損人」。
