Responsibilities

• The key person to handle airfreight export booking, either specific to lane or assigned key customer.

• Coordinate with overseas agents/officers regarding cargo status of outbound air shipment.

• Ensure to meet compliance to regulations, SOP, and customs requirements

• Input data in operating system (PO Management system & Freight System) timely and accurately

• Verifying shipping document (e.g. shipping invoice, packing list or li-battery documents

• Laise with local/overseas customers through email/phone

• Provide flight details to customers timely

• Prepare shipment report for customer when necessary

• Monitor the shipment status, provision of shipment information including the flight detail; number of packages etc. on a timely manner following the SOPs pre-set to local shippers, overseas customers and / or agents/ colleagues

• Communicate with local shippers, and the customers (e.g. consignees) located overseas by emails or phone calls etc.

• Check the actual flight departure and arrival status, identify the variation versus plan and inform all relevant parties for any discrepancies found; prepare the pre-advices/export documents

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in air freight forwarding

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin

• Familiar with MS Office and Excel

• Strong sense of responsibility and team player

• Knowledge of operating CargoWise System is a plus

• Shift duty may be required

• Immediate available or short notice period is an advantage
