Responsibilities

• Analyze existing merchandising processes to identify areas for improvement and automation

• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency within the merchandising team

• Utilize Excel, VBA and SQL databases extensively to analyze data, create reports and build models that support decision-making processes

• Work collaboratively with the IT department and external vendors to design and deploy automated systems

• Maintain a keen interest in learning and applying Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks

• Train and support merchandising team members on new systems and processes

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in process automation, data analysis and supply chain management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field

• Proven experience in a supply chain, operations or merchandising role with a strong emphasis on process analysis and improvement

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA and SQL databases is essential

• Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in Python

• Experience with UI Path and Tableau is highly desirable

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
