Responsibilities
Analyze existing merchandising processes to identify areas for improvement and automation
Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline operations and increase efficiency within the merchandising team
Utilize Excel, VBA and SQL databases extensively to analyze data, create reports and build models that support decision-making processes
Work collaboratively with the IT department and external vendors to design and deploy automated systems
Maintain a keen interest in learning and applying Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks
Train and support merchandising team members on new systems and processes
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in process automation, data analysis and supply chain management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience in a supply chain, operations or merchandising role with a strong emphasis on process analysis and improvement
Advanced proficiency in Excel, VBA and SQL databases is essential
Demonstrated interest and foundational knowledge in Python
Experience with UI Path and Tableau is highly desirable
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
