Responsibilities

• Manage and handle all relevant multinational logistic documents, including but not limited to PO and bank documents, with accuracy and according to compliance

• Manage and oversee the Import & Export operations of Logistics Department, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely execution between factories located in Shenzhen, Bangladesh, Mexico and Cambodia

• Conduct data analysis on Logistics Costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving strategies

• Supervise and provide guidance to the shipping staff in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Bangladesh, Mexico, and Cambodia ensuring optimal performance and productivity

• Act as a key liaison between our factories and other departments, effectively communicating shipping-related updates and requirements

• Conduct market research to identify new and innovative service providers, negotiating contracts to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency

• Travels are required

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar managerial role within the shipping or logistics industry for more than 10 years

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team

• Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently under pressure

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficiency in database management and analysis, utilizing data-driven insights to drive operational improvements

• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, facilitating clear communication across different regions

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and managing complexity

• In-depth knowledge of shipping and logistics industry practices, regulations, and emerging trends
