Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of global logistics and production sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Oversee multi-jurisdiction production and logistics planning to support growth, with adaptability across global markets
Create and execute a comprehensive playbook for identifying, qualifying, onboarding, and managing logistics and manufacturing partners worldwide
Establish and develop a reliable manufacturing and logistics network in key regions, including China, ASEAN, and South Asia countries
Evaluate and regularly assess partner performance, implementing exit strategies for underperforming partners
Ensure standardized (yet regionally adaptable) logistics and sourcing policies, processes, and procedures, creating consistency across global operations
Oversee and manage supply forecasting to ensure capacity by product category and service offering, meeting customer requirements for lead time, quality, and cost goals
Optimize logistics operations, including warehouse management, transportation, and last-mile delivery, for efficiency and customer satisfaction
Lead and enhance technical sourcing and logistics capabilities, especially in product niches including denim, sweater, seamless, intimates, outdoor/activewear, and woven tailoring
Provide leadership and direction to ensure high standards in quality assurance, compliance, and sustainability initiatives throughout the logistics process
Align negotiated terms with supplier and logistics partners to ensure competitive cost structures consistent with company financial goals
Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining the integrity of operational performance
Collaborate proactively within cross-departmental teams, including product development, digital, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
15+ years experience in Logistics with both operational and sourcing knowledge
Strong connections with industry stakeholders – forwarders, shipping lines in both Asia, Europe and North America
Knowledge or experience in Apparel logistics will be an added advantage
Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and lead high-performing teams
Solid negotiation skills with the ability to secure long-term partnerships while maintaining strong working relationships
Data-driven mindset with high proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions
Business acumen, commercial sense, and exceptional problem-solving skills
Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal); mastery of additional languages is a plus
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
