Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design innovative handbag styles, incorporating the latest fashion trends and brand aesthetic

• Develop detailed design sketches, technical drawings and prototypes to bring your ideas to kife
  

• Work closely with the production team to ensure the successful implementation of your designs
  

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, consumer preferences and emerging design techniques
  

• Collaborate with the marketing team to support the promotion and positioning of new handbag collections
  

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the design quality and functionality of our products
  

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Handbag Designer, preferably in the fashion and textile industry

• Demonstrated expertise in creating innovative handbag designs, including sketching, technical drawing and prototyping

• Strong understanding of leather, fabric and accessory materials, as well as production processes
  

• Ability to translate trends and customer insights into commercially viable designs
  

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Potoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CAD software
  

• Passion for the fashion and accessories industry and a keen eye for emerging design trends
