Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of the ethical sourcing strategies
Conduct on-site assessment, review audit reports and engage with suppliers on remediations
Manage third-party audit firms to deliver high quality Kmart Group ES audits, including training, shadow audits and review processes
Ensure accurate and complete records are maintained in the systems and prepare analytical reports
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives, including supply chain traceability, living wage, women empowerment, upstream social and environmental performance (FSLM and FEM), and scope 3 emissions data collection and verification (FDM)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in ethical sourcing, social compliance, or sustainability roles
Strong understanding of ethical trade policies, international social compliance codes, and environmental standards
Ability to analyse complex data to identify areas for improvement
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
Experience in managing projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
Experience in training internal teams and suppliers on ethical sourcing standards
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and levels
Responsible, detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player
Mature, self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility
Proficient in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
