Responsibilities
Category Management: Drive sales and profitability for assigned product categories to meet company targets
Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and secure new/exclusive products; execute end-to-end procurement orders
Market Analysis: Analyze trends, forecast demand, and anticipate future product needs
Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate competitive terms with global/local suppliers while maintaining strong relationships
Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor stock levels and support product quality assurance processes
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and logistics to develop business strategies and promotional plans
Ad-hoc Duties: Support management with projects as required
Requirements
DSE / From 5 or above
Minimum 2 years’ purchasing experience in FMCG
Strong commercial acumen, market awareness, and analytical skills
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Team-oriented, innovative, and results-driven
Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the Assistant Buyer position
