Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and assess new markets and products within Asia or for Asian clientele.
• Explore and establish connections with additional securities firms and brokerages in Asia, particularly those serving retail investors.
• Support the brokerage operations team in addressing inquiries and providing customer support for existing partners and clients.
• Aid in the establishment of new business entities in foreign jurisdictions and oversee visa processes for the team.
• Accompany the CEO to conferences and meetings with potential clients, offering translation assistance when required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Native Mandarin (and English, obviously).
• Possess a meticulous mindset akin to a controller, the strategic execution of a field marshal, and the resilience of a long-distance runner.
• Flourish in independence; you will often be the primary decision-maker in the room (or time zone).
• Proficient in reading a daily blotter (or quick to learn), adept at web-scraping corporate actions database feeds, and capable of creating basic pandas data analysis scripts.
• Enjoy transforming chaotic processes into efficient workflows.
