Responsibilities

• Developing the silver and fashion jewelry collections

• Sourcing finished products and components suppliers

• Monitor quality and manage suppliers to make sure supplies are in accordance to the requirements

• Visit factories and attending exhibitions & fairs

• Monitor the suppliers follow the material specification, standards, testing and validation

• Work under marketing requirements including quotations, samples and orders follow up

• Developing of a suitable suppliers’ strategy and roadmap

• Liaise, work and follow up closely with Region / Headquarter in terms of stock request and other related merchandising and stock issues

• Ensure logistics flows, shipments and processes are optimized and look for continuous improvement in order to shorten the lead time

• Negotiate allocation with Region / HQ to meet assortment and firm orders’ needs

• Report to Merchandising Manager & General Manager

Requirement

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Experience in silver & fashion jewelry development and purchasing is preferred

• Experience in diamonds, pearls, stones is an advantage

• Organized, systematic oriented and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent team work spirit

• Ability to pay attention to details and caution to accuracy

• Project management skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin

• Familiar in using of MS Office

• Knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage

• Travel to factories in China is required
