Responsibilities 

• To lead a small PD team, and report into Senior Manager

• Handle the product development from initial concepts, prototyping, sampling and salesman sample development

• Work with Designers, Product Developers, Patternmakers and Technical Department to proactively manage the design, fabric, fit and trim requirements relative to manufacturability, performance, quality, cost, lead-times, ad minimums

• Work with internal teams to maintain bill of materials and tech pack during development process

• Prepare for cost and price negotiations, Responsible for calculating price breakdown, price control, price and order quantity negotiation with suppliers

• Work with internal team on risk assessmentsm, communicate / interpret fitting notes to internal supporting team

• Track, request samples, revisions and approvals throughout development process

• Build up and maintain a good relationship with key suppliers to deliver improved supply chain efficiently including greater flexibility, shorter lead times, re-engineering, and margin improvements

• Prepare Time & Action Plan. Ensure materials, systems, products are ready

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above

• Detail-minded with good communication skills and positive attitude

• Fresh graduates who are passionate about apparel industry will be considered, some relevant experience is a plus

• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
