Duties & Responsibilities:

• Familiar with the relevant packaging technologies and packaging materials properties i.e., their applications and compatibility with interactions to various products and filling/packing systems in plants

• Work on packaging development projects according to business needs and consumer insights

• Participate in packaging value improvement activities including product quality, safety, packaging performance and lean operation, as well as cost optimization and technical support to new alternative supplier development

• Cooperate with internal and external vendors on regulatory compliances and acquire the relevant PMDS and test reports for validation evidence

• Work on various working flows in cost simulation (TP), Product Change Requisition System (PCRS) and submit Packaging Material Evaluation Form (PMEF) for packaging approval/release

• Develop and deliver the technical output in well-defined packaging specification, tech. drawing and/or packing instructions, maintaining good working accuracy and documentation record

• Coordinate with cross functions for timely communication and alignment on projects and changes

• Provide technical support to OEM projects including project documentation and filing control to ensure business growth and quality requirement 

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Engineering, Chemical Science, Physics or related disciplines

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food industry, preferring in sauce manufacturing

• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Proficiency in MS Office, Chinese word processing and Auto-CAD

• Willing to learn in packaging development area

• Be proactive, self-motivated, and responsible
