Relationship Manager (Retail Banking Department)

Responsibilities

  • Provide investment and insurance services to high net worth clients in branch
  • Maintain close relationships with clients
  • Cooperate with specialist to give advice to clients
  • Meet the compliance requirement
 
Requirements
  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines

  • Min 1-2 years of relevant experience in retail banking or related experience in investment and insurance selling

  • IIQE 1,2,3 and HKSI 1,7,8

  • Good command in both Chinese and English

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Relationship Manager

 

General Banking Officer (Retail Banking Department)

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide high-quality customer service to retail clients in the branch network, ensuring their banking needs are met with professionalism and care.

  • Needs Assessment: Proactively identify customer requirements and offer appropriate banking services and solutions, helping clients achieve their financial goals.

  • Business Growth: Participate in promotional campaigns to acquire new business and strengthen customer loyalty, contributing to the bank's growth and success.

  • Risk Management: Maintain awareness of operational risks and adhere to relevant policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and security in all transactions.

 
Requirements
  • Educational Background: University degree holder with a passion for finance and customer service.

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 6 months of full-time banking or financial institution experience; OR minimum 1-year of full-time direct sales experience in any industry.

  • Qualifications: IIQE 1,2,3 required. Relevant professional qualifications in insurance and investment are an advantage.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong service and sales orientation with a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services for customers.

  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with Putonghua proficiency being an advantage. Ability to manage complex interactions effectively.

  • Adaptability: Strong situational awareness, desire to learn, and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Insurance Specialist (Retail Banking Department)

Responsibilities 

  • Promote insurance products at branches i.e. maximize bancassurance business, execute related department strategies and business plans, and drive marketing programs as well as optimize sales preparation and operations
  • Provide training to frontline sales staff on insurance product knowledge, market updates, and selling skills
  • Arrange mentors to newly joined sales staff
  • Monitor sales performance, identify problems, if any, and provide relevant solutions

Requirements

  • University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in bancassurance/insurance business at supervisory level in banks, financial institutions or insurance companies
  • Pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
  • Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
  • HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
  • Solid experience in selling insurance products
  • Sound knowledge of insurance products and good business sense
  • Independent, self-motivated and effective team player as well as leader with positive working attitude
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work under pressure
  • Strong sales, organization, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua a plus
