General Banking Officer (Retail Banking Department)

Industry Experience: Minimum 6 months of full-time banking or financial institution experience; OR minimum 1-year of full-time direct sales experience in any industry.

Qualifications: IIQE 1,2,3 required. Relevant professional qualifications in insurance and investment are an advantage.

Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong service and sales orientation with a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services for customers.

Communication Skills: Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with Putonghua proficiency being an advantage. Ability to manage complex interactions effectively.

Insurance Specialist (Retail Banking Department)
Responsibilities
- Promote insurance products at branches i.e. maximize bancassurance business, execute related department strategies and business plans, and drive marketing programs as well as optimize sales preparation and operations
- Provide training to frontline sales staff on insurance product knowledge, market updates, and selling skills
- Arrange mentors to newly joined sales staff
- Monitor sales performance, identify problems, if any, and provide relevant solutions

Requirements
- University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in bancassurance/insurance business at supervisory level in banks, financial institutions or insurance companies
- Pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
- Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
- HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
- Solid experience in selling insurance products
- Sound knowledge of insurance products and good business sense
- Independent, self-motivated and effective team player as well as leader with positive working attitude
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work under pressure
- Strong sales, organization, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua a plus
