Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, business users, and a broad range of operations teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather UAT requirements and ensure business alignment, serving as the key liaison between users and technical teams during UAT cycles.
Facilitate clear communication and alignment on UAT objectives and outcomes by leading planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
Conducted training sessions for business users on UAT processes and tools, fostering a collaborative testing environment.
Demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and functional expertise, combined with confident decision-making to deliver effective solutions and drive high productivity within the UAT team structure.

UAT Strategy & Planning
Define and maintain the UAT approach in alignment with the QA and Test Manager’s direction, clearly articulating the scope, test scenarios, objectives, and acceptance or success criteria.
Develop comprehensive UAT test plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across business units and operation teams
Ensure test cases reflect real-world business processes and operational workflows, and the readiness of test environments and data.
Coordinated UAT arrangements with IT teams, facilitating effective communication between business users and technical teams.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance
Oversee the design and execution of UAT test cases and scenarios.
Monitor test progress, track metrics, and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
Validate that deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
Ensure traceability between business requirements and test cases.

Defect & Risk Management
Manage the defect lifecycle by logging, tracking, and coordinating resolution efforts; identify root causes and define appropriate SLAs to ensure timely and effective issue resolution
Escalate critical issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders with mitigation plans.
Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and process enhancements.

Reporting & Documentation
Provide regular status updates and final UAT summary reports to stakeholders.
Maintain thorough documentation of UAT activities, outcomes, and retrospectives.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Quality Assurance (QA) management within large-scale enterprise environments.

Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, and TestRail.

Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in Greenfield program implementations, driving initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, with the ability to adapt to hybrid environments.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and techniques, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ISTQB, PMP, Scrum Master (SMC), or Product Owner (SPOC).
- Demonstrated expertise in business processes, product knowledge, and application landscapes relevant to IT projects, particularly within the Life and Savings insurance domain.
