- Key Responsibilities
- Implements and executes all business development activities including underwriting insurance products within assigned authority limit, managing top and bottom-line target
- Improves and maintains good relationships with internal and external customers
- Assists in setting underwriting policies and guidelines
- Recruitment of intermediaries
- Supervises staffs
Requirements:
- University graduate or above with recognized insurance professional qualification such as ANZIIF / ACII or above
- Hold a valid General Insurance License
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in General Insurance Industry
- Possesses experience in recruiting and servicing agents and brokers
- Strong technical knowledge in underwriting general insurance products
- Able to develop and strengthen connection and relationships with local agents or brokers
- Able to prepare underwriting guidelines and design pricing models
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word and Excel
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Customer oriented
