Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement function to implement strategies that enhance organizational value and efficiency.
- Identify ways to improve procurement processes, such as supplier registration, tendering, performance management, and data analysis.
- Assist in upgrading the e-Procurement system and the procure-to-pay process.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.
- Manage all procurement activities, including strategy development, vendor specifications, evaluation criteria, negotiation, and contract preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve supplier performance and build a strong supplier network.
- Provide regular training to staff on procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and develop new policies focused on value creation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. CIPS or a similar qualification is a plus.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in sizable organizations, with over 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proactive, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
