Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager - Quantity Surveyor Team to support our project management team in delivering high-end residential and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and project management, with a focus on luxury building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of new build luxury residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Conduct cost estimation and analysis for new projects and variations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Assist in procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiations.
- Provide support in managing client relationships and project communications.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quantity surveying and project management, preferably in luxury residential and commercial construction.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., HKIS or MRICS) are a must.
- Both written and spoken Chinese AND English is a must.
