Corporate Credit Risk Manager / Senior Manager / Vice President (banking)  
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform credit due diligence and analysis on borrowers and trading counterparties of the Firm.
  • Conduct high-quality credit analysis on counterparties and sectors, recommending approvals for corporate loans, leveraged finance, margin loans, private credit, and derivatives transactions.
  • Manage the entire credit approval process for banks, financial institutions, and corporates.
  • Conduct client calls, perform independent research, and establish credit ratings for counterparties.
  • Approve transactions/credit limits within delegated authority and collaborate closely with Senior Credit Officers.
  • Present credit risk views in global commitments committees.
  • Prepare and review loan and annual/quarterly review memos for active and potential counterparties.
  • Review loan/derivatives documentation with counterparties and propose credit terms.
  • Conduct industry research and develop sovereign and macro risk views to support decision-making.
  • Monitor portfolio quality in assigned sectors and recommend rating actions/asset classification.
  • Prepare various credit reports for management and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Make presentations to regional and global risk teams on sector analysis and deep dives.
  • Review and update credit policies and procedures.
  • Monitor credit quality of individual obligors as well as the overall portfolio.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (not mandatory).
  • 6-10 years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 2 years in credit analysis within the financial services industry.
  • Strong credit analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to question, challenge, and learn.
  • CPA or CFA preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
  • Efficient, self-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure.
  • Good team player with a strong initiative and appetite to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to excel and go beyond expectations.
  • Less experienced candidates may be considered for a Manager position.
