Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enforce policies across the organization.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of IT policies to address emerging risks and technological advancements.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on IT policies and procedures.
- Participate in audits and assessments to verify policy compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust IT policies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT policy development, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements impacting the banking industry.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail for policy review and implementation.
- Relevant certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with risk management principles and practices in an IT context.
