Job Description:
- Responsible for all daily Trade Operations (Imports, Exports, Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Bills for collection, Risk Participation).
- Oversee any Trade Finance Officers to ensure high quality of service to customers on time
- Responsible for ensuring that all trade finance activities are conducted strictly in line with bank credit lines granted to the customers, including organising, supervising and directing the activities of bills processing, import and export financing, establishment of L/C and bills payment
- Responsible for processing Trade Finance transactions, complying with the International Chamber of Commerce rules and with the Bank's policies and procedures
- Observe that all related applications and documents presented by customer are in line with policy as well as to provide oversight of the daily work and activities of the Trade Operations to ensure that the business is carried out in compliance with policies, rules and regulations.
- Provide back-up support to Treasury Operations and assist in the processing of fixed deposit placements/rollovers/maturities, etc., as and when required
What you'll need to succeed
- University graduate in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
- Minimum 1 year relevant hand-on experience in Trade Finance Operations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing)
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Cantonese
