Operations Director in hotel (stationed in Guangdong)

Job Summary:

The Hotel Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of hotel management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Direct and manage all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
    • Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Enhance guest satisfaction through effective service delivery and resolving guest issues.
    • Develop and implement programs to improve guest engagement and loyalty.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the annual budget; monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and revenue opportunities.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff; foster a positive and productive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure continuous staff training and development.
  • Sales and Marketing:
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional strategies and packages.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure the hotel remains competitive.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure hotel operations adhere to health and safety regulations and local laws.
    • Manage emergency procedures and crisis management plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction and achieving financial goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
