Chief Scientist

Ricoh is a leading provider of digital services and innovative solutions to support our customers’ digital transformation and business process optimization. To cope with our business expansion, we are looking a team of talent joining our Ricoh Family.


About Your Role:

  • Lead R&D to advance the InnoAI platform, resolving scientific uncertainties in AI-driven document processing (e.g., multilingual OCR accuracy)
  • Oversee co-development with startups, ensuring solutions resolve technological uncertainties and achieve scientific advancements in AI integration
  • Supervise the InnoAI Center team, guiding experimental research to develop innovative AI technologies

 

Does it sound like you?

  • Doctoral degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, AI)
  • 7+ years in AI R&D, with expertise in machine learning and OCR technologies, including resolving scientific or technological uncertainties
