Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical operation and post-implementation maintenance support for enterprise-level applications.
- Serve as second-line technical support for daily operations with focus on middleware and applications.
- Collaborate with the first line support team and various vendors to ensure the existing system is properly maintained.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to conduct thorough troubleshooting during the incident and problem management process.
- Develop and manage technical documentation, including both internal and external reports.
- Perform ad hoc QA testing and other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Holder of a Higher Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant technical support experience in IT industry
- Working knowledge of infrastructure design and daily operations
- Understanding of both public and private cloud environments
- Working knowledge of cloud log management tools including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Filebeat and Logstash
- Preferred qualifications include programming skills (Java/Python/C/C++), disaster recovery experience, high availability systems knowledge, database maintenance experience, and prior work on MTR or government projects
- Practical experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Linux, Kubernetes and Zookeeper
- Familiarity with popular middleware such as Redis and Kafka
- Ability to work independently and collaborate proactively across different teams
- Capability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Working hours do not exceed 9 AM to 9 PM / 9 PM to 9 AM (12 hours per shift), including a 1-hour meal break, and are no longer than 204 hours per month.
