My client is looking for high caliber to join as a Factory General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Station in Dongguan and direct report to Headquarter's CEO in Europe.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations and productions of manufacturing plant. Ensure company's targets are achieved and policies are strictly followed.
- Based on company's financial target, plan and manage budget, profit and cost.
- Plan the overall production activities and schedule. Ensure all the production objectives are achieved timely and cost effectively.
- Manage the production process and ensure it is in compliance with relevant safety, environmental, labour standard and regulation.
- Ensure the products quality meeting the standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership to factory managerial staff and workers. Train and coach the staff. Provide directions and resolutions to staff when problems emerge.
- Manage the production facilities and equipment. Implement preventative maintenance plan.
- Responsible for cost control, including labour cost, overheads and other operating expenditures.
- Optimize logistics and warehouse plan. Keep a healthy and reasonable stock level.
- Maintain collaborative relationship with government, suppliers and vendors.
- Lead the implementation of ERP system and semi-automation assembly process.
- Source new suppliers to ensure stable supply and cost reduction.
- Occasional work travel is needed for this position.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
- 10 years relevant management experience in production factory of electronic / medical device.
- Strong at leadership, planning and problem solving skills.
- Good at communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess expertise in production techniques.
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Candidate who can speak German is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications.
- Familiar with ERP system.
