Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and report on risk indicators and limits to ensure adherence to defined appetites and thresholds.

Track margin exposure levels within client portfolios.

Oversee daily usage of total margin limits.

Coordinate liquidation preparations for any margin deficits.

Assist in evaluating the underlying risks of investment products.
-
Measure and assess portfolio risk and performance across various asset classes and investment strategies.
-
Manage applications for margin and credit limits, and prepare credit proposals.
-
Identify and escalate emerging issues, gathering relevant information to support the team in developing mitigation strategies.
-
Ensure compliance with internal policies by monitoring and maintaining margin levels.
-
Conduct credit analysis and provide recommendations to minimize credit risk.
-
Review and update credit and risk management procedures and policies.
-
Participate in stress testing to evaluate the company’s resilience to adverse market conditions.
-
Prepare routine credit control and risk reports for management.
-
Develop materials for regulators, external rating agencies, banks, or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

A degree or higher in Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

At least 3 years of risk management experience in the financial services sector.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Previous experience in investment or market risk, or investment performance attribution is a plus.

Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

A strong desire to learn and improve.
-
Proficiency in VBA and Excel-Macro is advantageous.
