The Sales Director will lead and drive revenue growth across B2B and B2C channels in the healthcare, supplement, beauty, and consumer health sectors. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in sales management, market expansion, and team development. A background in nutrition or health sciences is a plus, as it will support product education and customer engagement.

 

Sales Director (Retail Health Product, ~1M)

Job Responsibilities:

 
Sales Strategy & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for B2B (wholesale, distributors, retailers) and B2C (e-commerce, retail, DTC) channels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to optimize sales approaches.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team (including key account managers, field reps, and e-commerce specialists).
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Customer & Partner Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales initiatives with branding, promotions, and product launches.
Regulatory & Product Knowledge
  • Ensure sales practices comply with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, health claims).
  • Leverage knowledge of nutrition, supplements, or beauty science to support customer education and sales enablement.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Use CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance, forecast demand, and refine strategies.
  • Present regular reports to senior management on sales metrics, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 10+ years in sales leadership, preferably in healthcare, supplements, beauty, or consumer health.
  • Proven success in both B2B and B2C sales models.
  • Strong network with retailers, distributors, or healthcare providers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
