• Responsible for the helpdesk support via telephone, email and desktop support;

• Solving IT problems for RTHK users or escalate problem to appropriate level support parties;

• Maintaining backup log, systems check log, inventory and maintenance records of network equipment and filing of documents;

• Performing broadcast network configuration, physical network cable patching and maintain cable records;

• Maintaining storage systems, SQL database, streaming encoders and decoders, live video links, cloud service equipment, video/audio system, post-production workstations, recording/ingestion servers, IP-based intercom system, KVM and clock system, multi-view system and media file transcoders;

• Assisting installation, configuration, testing, market research, system planning and update of system documentation;

• Check and assure the quality of deliverables.

• Assisting technical feasibility study and technology research

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology or related subjects

• At least 4 years' experience in supporting enterprise network environment/media infrastructure including multi-media production, Microsoft Windows, HCI and Apple MAC OSX client desktop and notebook, PC LAN and helpdesk;

• At least 2 years' experience in Broadcast and production network with low latency and high bandwidth of 10/40/100GbE, SAN, NAS storage system

• At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Apple Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows

• Experience in preparing system drawing with Computer Aided Design software and operating Adobe Premiere and equivalent video editing software

• At least 1 year practical experience in Application deployment on cloud platform, Application testing and prepare test results;

• Experience in configuring video streaming and audio streaming platform, such as WOWZA and operating container platform, Large Language Model (LLM) API gateway;

• Experience in Configuring media transcoding engine

• Experience in Configuring media transcoding engine including Telestream Vantage

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, independent
