As a key member of the newly established Managed Services Team at a systems integrator firm, you will be primarily responsible for product and solution packaging, pricing strategies, and conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) for prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Product Packaging: Develop and refine product and service packages that meet market needs and enhance customer value.
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish competitive pricing models that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Proof of Concept (POC) Development: Lead the design and execution of technical POCs to effectively demonstrate product capabilities and value to prospective clients.
- Sales Materials Creation: Generate technical sales collateral, including presentations and demos, tailored to showcase product features and benefits.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their technical requirements and business challenges.
- Customer Requirements Gathering: Collect and analyze customer needs to tailor proposed solutions and POC demonstrations accordingly.
- Proposal Development: Manage the preparation of detailed technical proposals and RFP responses that reflect client requirements and highlight our solutions.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on technical offerings and support their efforts in closing deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously improve product packaging and pricing strategies.
- Reporting: Provide insights and updates on POC outcomes, customer feedback, and market reception to management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCDA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP).
- Pre-Sales Experience: 3+ years in IT managed services presales, targeting mid-market companies, including IT outsourcing services.
- Consultative Selling: Experience in solutions-based selling and RFPs.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking relevant to Managed Services.
- Executive Engagement: Ability to effectively present to executive management and decision-makers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Chinese (additional languages a plus).
- Customer Focus: Commitment to high-quality work and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel up to 20%.
