Our client is a leading IT solutions provider. They are looking for a talented IT Solutions Manager or IT Project Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive migration strategies for IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft products (including Infrastructure, databases, CRM, ERP, and cloud services)
• Conduct in-depth research and evaluations of alternative technologies from mainland China
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared 
• To lead the entire cycle of the application migrations project, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met. Coordinate with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and business functions to mitigate risks and ensure seamless transition
• To effectively communicate project matters to all levels of stakeholders
• Oversee or directly execute data and application migrations, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal downtime. Work closely with IT teams to customize configurations as needed for optimized performance
• Ensure that all migration activities comply with relevant data protection, cybersecurity, and industry regulations, especially those specific to operating within mainland China
• Ensure that project deliverables (e.g. documentation, codebase, testing, etc.) are of high quality
• Identify and implement best practices for future migration projects, documenting lessons learned and improving migration frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline
• PMP, PRINCE or AWS certificates holders would be an advantage
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in  IT infrastructure or application migration, with specific experience migrating from IBM, Oracle, or Microsoft technologies. 
• Familiarity with Chinese enterprise solutions is highly preferred
• A good team player and able to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English
