DNA Recruit Partners is partnering with a reputable General Insurance group. It is one of the largest General Insurance insurance groups in globally, ranked Fortune 500. Their business extensive operations span across various regions worldwide, offering a wide array of general insurance products, including Marine cargo, property and casualty, Fire insurance etc. They are currently looking for a senior Account Executive (Client management role) for their client  management team. Dynamic multi-cultural team, MNC working environment with attractive package. 

Senior Account Manager (General Insurance | Property and casualty)

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability in the agency channel by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and referrals
  • Demonstrate proficient technical knowledge in underwriting of general insurance products (Casualty & Properties are highly perferred)  
  • Explore business potential, monitor and maintain existing business portfolios, and achieve sales and retention targets within the professional broker channels to ensure a profitable business portfolio
  • Conduct regular visits to potential and existing brokers to foster and nurture strong business relationships
  • Optimize sales revenue in alignment with Underwriting Guidelines.
  • Provide supervision and coaching to subordinates to enhance their skill development.
  • Analyze and manage the performance of business sources, focusing on metrics such as loss ratio and growth rate, and recommend necessary actions to superiors.
  • Collaborate with Accounts and producers regarding credit control.
  • Prepare account summaries and statistics for management reporting purposes.
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Degree holder  
  • Possess recognized insurance professional qualifications such as ANZIIF / ACII or higher.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the General Insurance industry, with a background in underwriting, servicing, and marketing with international brokers
  • Proficient in preparing underwriting guidelines and designing pricing models.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
  • Strong market intelligence and awareness.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working effectively under pressure.
  • Clients-oriented mindset
