Responsibilities:

• • Build and maintain APIs and data transfer systems (e.g., RESTful APIs, AWS S3) for smooth data sharing with external systems.

  • Develop plans for data backup and recovery to keep systems reliable, using tools like Kubernetes.

  • Apply security measures like encryption and access controls to protect sensitive data.

  • Improve system performance by fixing bottlenecks for faster data processing.

  • Ensure data quality through validation and tracking processes.

  • Work with teams to integrate genomics data (e.g., FASTQ, BAM) and clinical data (e.g., FHIR).

  • Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • At least 8 years of related working experience.

  • Knowledge of APIs, data transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, AWS S3), and data security.

  • Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL) and data storage systems.

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
