Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and staff management
- Maintain and enhance service standards consistent with fine-dining and Michelin-level expectations
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Coordinate and supervise reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
- Support in inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and communication
- Help plan and execute special events or promotions as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisory role in a French fine-dining or Western Michelin-starred restaurant
- Deep knowledge of fine-dining service standards, wine, and food pairing
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional appearance and a passion for hospitality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese
