We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager, this role is ideal for individuals with a proven track record in French fine-dining or Western Michelin-starred restaurants.  Support the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

 

Assistant Restaurant Manager - French fine-dining /Western Michelin

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and staff management
  • Maintain and enhance service standards consistent with fine-dining and Michelin-level expectations
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Coordinate and supervise reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
  • Support in inventory management, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and communication
  • Help plan and execute special events or promotions as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisory role in a French fine-dining or Western Michelin-starred restaurant
  • Deep knowledge of fine-dining service standards, wine, and food pairing
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional appearance and a passion for hospitality
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese
