Our client – Global financial company, is now looking for Senior IT Test Manager within their team.
We are seeking to fill the position of Senior IT Test Manager. To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of software design and engineering, a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of quality, and a natural ability for software troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy and plan for the master data management program revamp.
- Lead and manage a team size in one or two offshore test analysts and coordinators to ensure successful testing activities.
- Produce the overall test delivery plan, define business test deliverable milestones, and determine the potential use of automation tools.
- Define and implement testing processes and standards to ensure high-quality deliverables from selected solution provider.
- Oversee the identification, prioritization, and resolution of testing issues and defects.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders and management.
- Manage business users’ expectations and collaborate with them to support the UAT or validation.
- Manage a large testing capability, resources, and testing process from project initiation to post implementation review.
- Ensure appropriate entry/exit criteria for all test phases and obtain sign-off prior to Go Live.
- Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting.
- Monitor and report the daily execution status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders,
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Proven experience in managing testing activities for complex IT projects, preferably in master data management or data-related programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide testing teams.
- Familiarity with data migration methodologies, best practices, and tools
- Proven experience in revamping and transitioning data management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address potential challenges during the revamp project.
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred certifications may include ISTQB, CSTE, Scrum Master or Oracle.
- Experience with Azure Services, such as Logic App, ADF, and Databricks, may be preferred.
