Job Description:
You will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our E&M projects, specifically within the data center sector. You will be responsible for overseeing all quantity surveying activities and leading a team of professionals to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all quantity surveying functions for data center projects, from feasibility to completion.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and provide insights to optimize project costs.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and standards.
- Lead tendering processes, including preparing and evaluating tender documents.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and team members.
- Monitor project progress and implement cost control measures as necessary.
- Prepare reports for stakeholders, detailing project performance and financial health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on E&M projects.
- Proven experience in managing data center construction projects is essential.
- Excellent understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
