- Lead and manage the quantity surveying team, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in all deliverables.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for commercial projects.
- Conduct value engineering and cost-benefit analysis to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
- Manage contractual negotiations and administration, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on procurement strategies and supplier selection to achieve best value for the company.
- Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to senior management regarding financial performance and forecasts.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to enhance collaboration and project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quantity surveying.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in quantity surveying, primarily in commercial projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on cost management.
- Exposure to projects in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is a MUST.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work independantly, fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
