Job Description:
As the Head of Construction / Construction Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process for our commercial and mixed-use development projects. Your leadership will be essential in driving project success, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction for commercial and mixed-use development projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement construction strategies that align with the company’s objectives and project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure project feasibility and design integrity.
- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices throughout the construction process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on global or APAC commercial and mixed-use development projects.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale projects, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
- MUST be able to be base in Dubai.
- In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, methodologies, and best practices.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
