Job responsibilities:
- Implement various commissioning processes tailored to the project type and client requirements, from initial stages to final handover and continuous commissioning.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans for MEP, BMS, and Controls systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the RFP process and assist in creating quotations/RFPs for commissioning works.
- Oversee and, if necessary, draft commissioning-focused documentation, including plans, scripts, reports, strategies, and method statements.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction with commissioning processes and outcomes.
- Lead projects of various sizes and types independently, as required.
- Supervise and mentor engineers on commissioning projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction checklists, providing feedback related to commissioning works.
- Attend and oversee factory testing, start-up testing, and site testing.
- Manage the installation of energy monitoring and fault detection systems.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and programming.
- Maintain asset registers and ensure effective delivery of end-user training.
- Resolve issues and observations related to testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of testing and commissioning documents in line with project requirements.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions and implement improvements in commissioning processes.
- Validate that systems and installations meet project requirements through thorough testing and commissioning.
- Conduct meetings and workshops related to internal and external commissioning requirements.
- Utilize various electronic platforms effectively.
- Oversee the training process and the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals for building facilities staff.
- Contribute to reviewing and developing new/existing internal processes, procedures, and standardization within the organization.
- Liaise effectively with client teams, design teams, contractors/vendors, installation teams, and facility teams.
Job requirements:
- Degree holder in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 7 years' solid experience in relevant Commissioning Experience is required
- Holder of professional qualification is preferred
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Able to work under pressure and independently
- Good time management and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients,
