Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the safety management system to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide training and support to project teams on safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling reports to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, helping to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to promote a culture of safety and ensure safety measures are effectively implemented.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in safety management, preferably with a focus on residential construction projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams at all levels.
- RSO with HK labor department is a must.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluent in Cantonese is a must.
