The Role:
- To monitor the site management team’s safety and health performance.
- Implement and guide safety and health programs across all existing construction projects.
- Develop and conduct in-house safety training, enhance safety standards, and promote a safety culture among consultants and contractors.
- Organize safety training for construction sites, attend safety meetings, and conduct inspections to ensure compliance and timely corrective actions.
- Evaluate and procure a Site Safety Supervision System (SSSS).
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to recommend best practices for improving construction safety.
- Research innovative safety devices and methods to enhance safety outcomes.
The Candidate:
- Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and Registered Safety Auditor (RSA).
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years post-qualification.
- Proven experience in managing construction safety, especially in government or large-scale projects.
- Experience in Housing Project is a must.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in English and Cantonese, with computer skills in Microsoft Windows.
