Job Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain transport networks, international leased lines, and international Ethernet.
- Support routine transport network troubleshooting and planned maintenance.
- Coordinate and implement maintenance operations related to the transport network, including planning and restoration of ad hoc services.
- Provide technical and service support to the Network Monitoring Center.
- Be on-call during non-office hours as required.
- Analyze and optimize the company’s transmission network.
- Support the configuration team and problem-solving team in analyzing difficulties and issues.
- Provide network analysis technical services to customers, such as performance evaluation, security analysis, and failure analysis.
- Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality performance and efficient operating costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in network and equipment maintenance in the transmission field.
- Hands-on experience using test instrumentation and network monitoring systems.
- Preferred experience working with transmission equipment vendors.
- Two or more years of experience managing a team of transmission professionals preferred.
- Familiarity with SDH, OTN, and DWDM equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Huawei equipment and other related products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including written and verbal proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
