Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for E&M projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
- Monitor project costs and provide financial reports to project management.
- Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and bid submissions.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working on E&M projects, ideally with a main or sub-contractor.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is preferred but not essential.
