General Manager – FMCG
About the Client

We are hiring a leading manufacturer and distributor of consumer products (food & beverage) across Hong Kong, China, and Macau.

About the Role
As the General Manager : you will take the lead in steering the business towards sustained growth. You’ll oversee the entire product development cycle and craft strategies that resonate with local consumers, ensuring alignment with broader group objectives.

General Manager - Sales and Marketing, FMCG

Responsibilities:

              • Design and implement robust marketing and sales strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of each local market.

              • Spot new business opportunities by evaluating market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities.

              • Develop clear and actionable quarterly and annual plans aimed at achieving ambitious growth targets.

              • Partner with cross-functional teams to roll out initiatives that drive local sales and increase market share.

              • Strengthen brand visibility through well-crafted campaigns and strategic collaborations.

              • Regularly assess market intelligence to guide strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

              • Stay ahead of industry shifts by proactively refining strategies in response to emerging trends.

              • Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key customers to support business goals.

              • Promote excellence in sales operations while encouraging innovative approaches.

              • Lead and support team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous development.

Requirements:

              • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

              • At least 10 years of experience in FMCG distribution, preferably with F&B industry experience

              • A strong track record in business development and strategic management

              • Well-established industry connections, complemented by excellent interpersonal and communication skills

              • Good analytical abilities to interpret market data and translate insights into action

              • Demonstrated leadership and experience managing cross-functional teams
