Associate Director, Marketing APAC (new brand)

As the Head of Marketing for a retail brand, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, footfall, and revenue. You will play a critical role in positioning a brand identity. Your expertise in marketing, strategic thinking, and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the success of this high-profile project. This is a regional role, covers regions in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for the business, encompassing brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, consumer trends, and competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations for effective marketing strategies.
  • Create and execute innovative and integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, traditional advertising, public relations, and events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop captivating creative assets, including branding materials, signage, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as footfall, sales conversion rates, customer feedback, and revenue, to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and delivering measurable results within the allocated budgetary constraints.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing and collaborative marketing department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the retail, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer behavior, and retail industry trends in the APAC markets.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative marketing strategies.
