Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on legal risks and implications of business decisions and strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including supply agreements, distribution agreements, joint venture agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and contract negotiation.
- Protect and manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Handle IP-related disputes and enforcement actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; qualified to practice law in Hong Kong.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with a mix of private practice and in-house roles.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry or FMCG sector is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
