Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning department, ensuring timely and accurate project schedules.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project plans for ASD building projects, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish and update project timelines.
- Analyze project performance and provide insights to optimize schedules and resource allocation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present planning reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all planning activities.
- Mentor and train junior planning staff to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Planning Manager or similar role within a main contractor environment.
- Extensive experience with ASD building projects in Hong Kong is essential.
- Proficient in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Cantonese speaking is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate in BOTH English and Cantonese.
