Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years in cabling design, preferably in data centers or financial companies.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Panduit Cat6A copper & fiber products and high-density fiber cassettes.
- Proficient with Panduit/CPI racks, cabinets, and patching frames.
- Knowledge of Fluke Network Instruments (e.g., DSX-5000/8000 Cable Analyzer).
- Understanding of ISO/TIA testing standards and LC/MPO/MTP fiber solutions.
- Experience with Cisco and Arista equipment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, especially with teams across Asia.
- Proactive coordination abilities.
- Certifications: Relevant international cabling certifications (e.g., RCDD) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead cabling design for data centers, ensuring consistency with the global EDC Infrastructure team.
- Prepare technical tender documents and specifications; issue RFPs with the procurement team.
- Coordinate with internal technology teams to gather cabling design requirements.
- Manage project budgets, vendors, shop drawings, logistics, installation schedules, and commissioning.
- Close out projects with O&M
