Our client is a prestigious and well-funded family business group. They are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Head Butler / Estate Manager to oversee the management of their private residences and lead a team of household staff. This is a unique and confidential opportunity for a consummate professional with a distinguished background in household and estate management to become an indispensable part of a prestigious family's life, ensuring the seamless and immaculate operation of their homes.

 
Butler | Household Manager 私人家庭管家 (HK$50K + | Prestiage Family)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Household & Staff Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and supervise a multi-disciplinary team of domestic staff, ensuring all household operations are executed to the highest standards of excellence.

    • Oversee the entire lifecycle of household staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management, fostering a positive and professional environment.

    • Direct all aspects of property management across multiple residences, including preventative maintenance schedules, procurement of goods and services, and managing large-scale renovation or interior design projects.

    • Oversee all culinary operations, liaising with private chefs on menu planning, managing kitchen inventory, and ensuring exceptional catering for both family dining and events.

    Executive Support & Coordination:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for the family, anticipating their needs and ensuring their daily schedules are executed flawlessly.

    • Manage and coordinate complex international and domestic travel arrangements, including private aviation, yacht charters, luxury accommodations, and detailed itineraries. Accompany the family on trips as required to provide on-the-ground support.

    • Coordinate with drivers, security personnel, and other personal assistants to ensure seamless and secure transportation and logistics.

    • Provide operational management and support for the principal's private social club, ensuring it is maintained and run to the same exacting standards as the private residences.

    Event & Asset Management:

    • Plan and flawlessly execute all family events, from intimate dinners to large-scale social gatherings, managing every detail from concept to completion, including vendor negotiation, guest lists, and on-site supervision.

    • Manage the family’s valuable collections, including fine art, antiques, and wine. This includes overseeing inventory, cataloging, security, and coordinating with specialists for valuation, preservation, and acquisition.

    • Oversee the care and management of the principals' wardrobes, vehicles, and other personal luxury assets.

    Financial & Administrative Duties:

    • Manage comprehensive household budgets, financial planning, and reporting. This includes handling household Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, processing invoices, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across all operations.

    • Handle confidential administrative tasks with the utmost discretion.

Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 10+ years of demonstrable experience in a senior household management role (e.g., Head Butler, Estate Manager, or Household Manager) within a high-net-worth or prominent family environment.

    • Formal training from a recognized butler academy or equivalent hospitality institution is highly preferred.

    • Impeccable discretion, integrity, and a strong sense of loyalty are paramount.

    • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and project management skills with a meticulous eye for detail.

    • Polished, well-mannered, and culturally astute, with the ability to interact gracefully with principals, guests, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

    • Proven leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and managing domestic staff.

    • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing complex household budgets and financial reporting.

    • Must be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

    • A proactive and resourceful problem-solver, capable of working independently and handling pressure with calm and composure.

    • Willingness and availability to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.

    • Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

    • Impeccable, verifiable references and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check are required.
